Head; beautiful  with straight frontonasal profile, lean and kind face.
Neck; long, arched and elegant.
Mane and tail;  abundant and massive.
Back; straight and strong.
Shoulders; well angled.
Chest;  of good breath and depth.
Legs; born with straight, strong and well proportioned legs.    Hooves of good shape and condition

Movements

Energetic, elevated movements. No ‘campaneo’.     
(Unable to valorate her movements  on a straight walk).

Remarks

Very reduced sight:
0%  on the right eye                                                                 Appr.  60 %  on the left eye.
Zulema was born with her reduced sight and is  suffering from  cataract. 
During pregnancy her mother was administered corticoide as the only choice,  to save the mares life.
The disease will not get worse nor is it heretical.

Due to the sight exclusively on the left eye, she tends to bend her neck  to the right  in order to orientate forward, which makes her left hind  leg compensate the balance by going to the left.
Hooves need regular trimming to avoid unequal growth.

History and Comments

Born in a big heard of mares and  foals and grown up in open land  until weaned.
With her handicap Zulema was uncapable to defend herself  in the big group of fillies after weaning,  at the stud farm. Zulema is doing well in box and paddock with visible fencing and easy  terrain.
She enjoys the company of other horses and is very sociable.
