Our Horses
At Los Caballos del Mosquín we have a working group of 6 Andalusian horses. They are all in top condition, sure footed well trained and fit for this terrain. We have horses to meet all levels of riders.
Riders can use English-style tack or try the comfortable Spanish-style in which you are seated on sheepskin.
Around our stables you may also meet other farm animals – a pony, dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits etc.
Beautiful traditional Andalusian mare. Piconera is sweet and easy to handle. She has good schooling, is responsive and is an excellent trekking horse, making a favorite with both beginners and experienced riders.
Very beautiful and sensitive older mare with carisma. I have known her since she was 2 years. She has produced many beautifull foals over the years and is now semi-retired being used for short treks and lightweight in the school.

Andaluza
Span/Arab.
Sovereign veteran - semi retired. She was my first horse here in Spain and we have known each other since she she was 8 years. Fit and healthy old lady who will never let her rider feel anything but the best, whether the rider is a first timer or advanced. A fantastic horse who also does a great job as a nanny to the foals, when they are ready to be weaned.

Capricho
Span/Arab
The most sure footed, swift and handsome trailrider. He has been with me since he was 3 days old, is the leader of the group in the paddock and has been my guide horse for many years. He is very intelligent and can open most doors, bolts and knots! Capricho bonds with his rider, has incredible stamina and most of all it is great fun!

Romero
Span/Pony
Little strongly built trailrider. Easy to ride and a reliable pony for children and lightweight adults or child ren and light weight adults. Romero can beused for volting also.

Carnaval
Pure Span.
Kind, very responsive dressage horse, with super comfortable movements and a spirit of his own. Carnaval is very well schooled and works in the school as well as trekking Simply spectacular!
