This tough and adventurous trekking takes you from our stables in Canillas, towards the cave “Cueva del Agua” with water basins inside. We ride through the town of Canillas de Albaida on the cobble stoned streets, dating back to Roman times and head towards the river Turvillo where we cross the old bridge. From here the trekking takes us into one of the most beautiful valleys and up into the mountains via narrow and winding paths. Around noon we reach the summit of the mountain El Cerro del Agua with its cave Cueva del Agua. As a special arrangement we can offer you the opportunity to explore the cave with stalactites and stalagmites and at the bottom there is a lake a very exciting and spectacular experience. Your private guide will be waiting at the entrance to the cave with all the necessary equipment. He is very professional and speaks English and Spanish. This tour is scheduled all year round. PROGRAM

12.00 Arrive at the cave and optional exploration. Lunch
13.30 Leave the cave.
14.30 Arrive at the river Turvillo and take a swim in the fresh and chilling water.
17.00 Back at our base. In all our full day horse trekking excursions, following is included: Andalusian trekking horses - guide - snacks - full lunch and drinks. |
